Accommodation
Sometimes visitors come who wish to make a retreat or to have a rest or quiet holiday. We have two self-catering flats where we can offer hospitality to them and also to our families or friends who may want to stay for a few days. The smaller is a little apart from the monastery on the other side of the church and set back from the road, the larger is within the building of the monastery itself. In both a selection of books and cassettes are provided as well as a TV, and on a more practical note towels and bed linen etc are provided too. Lynton is a dead area for mobile phones, but for those wanting the quiet of a retreat this may be more of an advantage than a drawback.
We also have available rooms within the monastery for sisters living the active life who wish to spend a retreat with us without self-catering and to share more closely in our contemplative life.
